Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Phototransformation in air

Half-life for reaction with photochemically-produced hydroxyl radicals: estimated to be between 0.645 and 0.967 days.

Hydrolysis

A base-catalysed second-order hydrolysis rate constant of 1.248E-002 L/mol-sec was estimated using a structure estimation method.

This corresponds to half-lives of 17.602 years at pH 7 and 1.76 years at pH 8.

In accordance with REACH Regulation 1907/2006, Annex VIII - Column 2, hydrolysis as a function of pH does not need to be determined as the substance can be regarded as readily biodegradable.
