Under COLUMN 2 “SPECIFIC RULES FOR ADAPTATION FROM COLUMN 1” in the REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 18 December 2006, it states The study does not need to be conducted if: “there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule” accordingly “The structure of the test material was assessed for chemical groups that imply explosive properties. Introduction
This study was undertaken to predict the explosive properties of the test material using a procedure designed to be compatible with the following guideline:

Method A14 Explosive properties, Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.

There are no structural alerts within the chemical structure of the test material. Therefore, based on chemical structure of the test item the result for explosive properties has been predicted negative.
