Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
After skin contact: In case of skin contact, wash with water and neutral soap.
After eye contact: In case of eye contact, wash with water.
After ingestion: In case of ingestion, do not provoke vomiting. Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water.
Fire-fighting measures
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Avoid release into the environment.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb with liquid-binding material (e.g. sand, diatomaceous earth, acid- or universal binding agents).
Handling and storage
Precautions against fire and explosion: Keep away from sources of ignition. - No smoking.
Further information on storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
The company provides to the staff all work clothes and protective equipment required (helmet, safety shoes, gloves, goggles, ...). It is properly maintained and renewed frequently to ensure safety, health and welfare of the workers.
The foreman ensures that all its workers wear personal protective equipment and are trained in their use, for all the circumstances where those equipments are mandatory.
Hand protection
Except for some specific tasks, it is strongly recommended for all workers to wear appropriate gloves when handling sharp, cutting, burning or particularly rough objects or materials. For the handling of metal sheets, pallets, pipes, waste, chemicals, etc. ... the gloves are mandatory.
Feet protection
Wearing safety shoes with steel tip and plate steel or protective boots is mandatory and it is forbidden to work shirtless. Handles floating chains or rings can not be worn if they pose any danger to workers.
The worker must provide, if necessary, hearing protection whenever a worker is exposed to high noise levels.
Body protection
Obligation to wear a helmet whenever workers are exposed to falling or splashing of materials, debris or other objects.
Safety belt or harness must be worn for any work at height where a misstep can cause a fall and when the use of scaffolding or a ladder is not possible. The belt or harness must be fixed in such a way that any possible fall would be stopped immediately.
Eye protection
Eye protection must be assured at all times (face shield or safety glasses with side shells) due to the risk of chemical spills, particles when working on machine tools, during grinding, polishing, when cleaning spare parts with compressed air, during the handling of chemicals, during a power switch or when performing any other work likely to project solid or liquid particles up to the eyes.
Respiratory protection
Use the appropriate mask or respirator whenever work is performed in an atmosphere that contains or may contain harmful dust, gases, fumes or mist, or in an atmosphere without enough oxygen. Cartridges used must be appropriate.
Stability and reactivity
