Conclusion on classification

The substance rapidly decomposes in water but the experimental results of the various environmental tests (6.1.1., 6.1.3., 6.1.5., 6.1.7.) justify the classification as 'R52/53 - Harmful to aquatic organisms: May cause long-term adverse affects in the aquatic environment.'

Note 1: The calculation of PNEC has not been conducted since no significant release of the substance to the environment is expected based on its restriction to Industrial uses only.
