Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The acute toxicity of 2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-6-cyano-5 [bis(ethoxycarbonylmethyl)carbamoyloxy]-1 H-pyrrolo[1 ,2-b][1 ,2,4]triazole-7-carboxylic acid-2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methyl-cyclohexyl ester (UC-141) to fish species was determined in a study by Bouwman (2004). This test was conducted according to OECD Guideline 203 under GLP conditions. A limit test was performed under static conditions, in which test organisms (Cyprinus carpio) were exposed for 96 hours to a filtrate of a solution prepared at 100 mg/L nominal (verification of test concentration was performed by HPLC analysis). No mortality or other adverse effects could be observed at the end of the exposure period and therefore, a precise LC50 value could not be calculated and it is considered to be > 0.015 mg/L (mean measured concentration).

In conclusion, UC-141 was not acutely toxic to fish under the tested conditions.
