PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Tris dipropylene glycol phosphite (TDPGP) is not expected to be persistent in the environment due to the high potential for the substance to hydrolyse into dipropylene glycol. Dipropylene glycol is readily biodegradable, not bioaccumulative, and does not meet the toxicity criteria. Therefore dipropylene glycol is not a PBT/vPvB substance and, as such, TDPGP is not expected to be a PBT/vPvB substance.

Likely routes of exposure:

Tris dipropylene glycol phosphite is not a PBT/vPvB substances, therefore the emissions characterisation is not needed.
