Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance as artificial substrate contains ca. 11% particles with a particle size larger than 200 μm, and ca. 50-60% particles with a particle size below 10 µm.
All matrix particles, in which the test substance was included, were greater than 100 µm.

Additional information

The particle size distribution of Cobalt aluminium oxide as artificial substrate was determined by sedimentation following OECD Guideline 110.

The particle size of the artificial substrate showed particles < 100 µm, while for the matrix particles only sizes greater than 100 µm were observed. Since the test substance is only imported as already included into the matrix, only particles > 100 µm have to be taken into account.
