First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: No specific recommendations
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately and as long as possible with plenty of
water. Eyelids should be held away from the eyeball to
ensure thorough rinsing. Always seek medical advise.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes
while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Only when conscious, rinse mouth, give plenty of water to
drink (approx. 500 ml). DO NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical
advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, fire extinguishing powder, carbon dioxide or foam.
Product arising from burning: No hazardous products to be expected.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: In case of insufficient ventilation wear self-contained
breathing apparatus, protective suit, suitable materials.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: ** Personal precautions
Use appropriate respirator breathing apparatus. Avoid
contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wear suitable gloves.
Wear suitable protective clothing.
** Environmental precautions
Isolate spill area.
** Methods for cleaning up
Shovel up. Collect as much as possible in a clean container
for (preferable) reuse or disposal. Rinse with absorbent.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wash
hands and/or face before taking a break or leaving
work. Never weigh out in the storage room.
Measures to prevent fire and explosions (handling Condition)
:
No specific recommendations.
Do not eat, drink or smoke in application area.
Keep working clothes separately and do not take
them home.
Storage: Requirement for storage rooms and containers:
Store in tightly closed containers at -20 °C .
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Insulib is packed in sterile bags and stored at -20 degrees

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: ** Re-cycling
The re-cycling of the used substance is possible.
** Spillage
Recovery and re-use is possible by collecting as much as
possible in a clean container.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not specified.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration is recommended way of disposal. According to
Federal-, State- or Local Laws. The produced waste-gases are
common to the incineration of oxygen-containing organic
substances.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: If used in the envisaged manner only small amounts of the
substance will be discharged into the waste-water, which
will be removed in a waste-water treatment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: Not applicable
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance does not enter the public domain.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable
