Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Vapour pressure:
0.021 Pa
Transition / decomposition:
yes
Transition temp.:
ca. 57 °C

The last of the three runs was performed on a fresh sample, as the response at the end of run 2 was noted to decrease significantly, (this final data point was not reported). Inspection of the sample at the end of run 2 revealed that it had solidified, possibly due to polymerisation. The results of run 3, (after which it was noted that liquid test substance remained), were in good agreement with the two runs performed on the first sample.

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of HEAA was determined to be 2.1E-02 Pa at 25°C.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure was determined using a vapour pressure balance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
