Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- Octanol/water partition coefficient of 2-Fluoro-4-methyl-1,3,2-dioxaphospholane was 0.871 at 20 ºC. This value of log Pow less than 3 units, the test substance could be classified as a low bioconcentration chemical substance in the aquatic environment. It was understood that the test substance evaporates very quickly from water, and it was not detected below the limit of quantification in the water, and the low detection concentration compared to the throughput is considered to be due to this. In conclusion, it might be determined that the log Pow value of a test substance is smaller than 0.871, which was a calculated value by considering a value below the limit of quantitation in the water as the limit of detection.
