First-aid measures
General advice: Do not leave the victim unattended.
If inhaled:
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position com-fortable for breathing. If not breathing, if breathing is irregular or if respiratory arrest occurs, provide artificial respiration or oxygen by trained personnel. Get medical attention if symptoms occur. If unconscious, place in recovery position and seek medical advice. Maintain open airway. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. In case of inhalation of decomposition products in a fire, symptoms may be delayed. The exposed person may need to be kept under medical sur-veillance for 48 hours.
In case of skin contact:
After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Call a physician if irritation persists.
In case of eye contact:
Flush eyes with water as a precaution. Remove contact lenses. Protect unharmed eye. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
If swallowed:
Rinse mouth with water. Give small amounts of water to drink. Stop if the exposed person feels sick as vomiting may be dangerous. DO NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by a physi-cian or poison control center.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If unconscious, place in recovery position and get medical attention immediately. Keep respiratory tract clear. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Treatment: No special measures required.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Dry powder
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do NOT use water jet.
Specific hazards during fire-fighting:
Fine powder forms flammable and explosive mixtures in air.
Hazardous combustion products:
Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Carbon monoxide
Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Special protective equipment for firefighters:
Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positive pressure mode.
Further information:
Promptly isolate the scene by removing all persons from the vicinity of the incident if there is a fire. In the event of fire, cool tanks with water spray.
No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training.
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local cir-cumstances and the surrounding environment.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training.
Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering.
Do not touch or walk through spilt material. Remove all sources of ignition. Avoid dust formation. Avoid breathing dust. Use personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions:
Avoid dispersal of spilt material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.
Methods for cleaning up:
Move containers from spill area. Vacuum or sweep up material and place in a designated, la-belled waste container. Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Use spark-proof tools and explosion-proof equipment.
Dispose of wastes in an approved waste disposal facility.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling:
Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the ap-plication area.
Avoid inhaling dust. Avoid the creation of dust when handling and avoid all possi-ble sources of ignition (spark or flame). Electrical equipment should be protected to the appropriate standard. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed.
Hygiene measures: General industrial hygiene practice.
Requirements for storage areas and containers:
Store in accordance with local regulations. Store in a segre-gated and approved area. Store in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials (see Section 10) and food and drink. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Take action to prevent static discharges. Electrical installations / working materials must comply with the technological safety standards.
Advice on common storage: Keep away from oxidizing agents.
Further information on stor-age stability:
Keep in a dry place. No decomposition if stored and applied as directed

Exposure controls / personal protection
Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety goggles
Hand protection:
Wearing time: < 60 min
Material: Polyvinyl chloride - PVC
Material: Nitrile rubber - NBR
Remarks:
After contamination with product change the gloves immedi-ately and dispose of them according to relevant national and local regulations The suitability for a specific workplace should be discussed with the producers of the protective gloves.
Skin and body protection: Wear suitable protective clothing.
Respiratory protection:
No personal respiratory protective equipment normally re-quired. In case of dust formation particle filter.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: No specific test data related to reactivity available for this product or its ingredients.
Chemical stability: The product is stable.
Hazardous reactions: Stable under recommended storage conditions. No hazards to be specially mentioned.
Conditions to avoid:
Avoid the creation of dust when handling and avoid all possi-ble sources of ignition (spark or flame). Avoid dust accumulation in enclosed space. In the case of dusty organic products the possibility of a dust explosion should always be considered. No hazardous reactions when used as directed.
Materials to avoid: Oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products: No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods
Product:
The generation of waste should be avoided or minimised wherever possible. Dispose of wastes in an approved waste disposal facility. Waste water from subsequent processing should be given appropriate treatment in line with local regulations. Within the present knowledge of the supplier, this product is not regarded as hazardous waste, as defined by EU Directive 2008/98/EC
Contaminated packaging:
Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste han-dling site for recycling or disposal.
