Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice:
Consult a physician. Show this data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Move out of dangerous area.
Skin:
In case of contact with substance, immediately flush skin with running water for at least 15 minutes. Wash skin with soap and water. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
Inhalation:
Move victim to fresh air. Administer oxygen if breathing is difficult. Give artificial respiration if victim is not breathing.
Eye
Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.
Ingestion
Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Use personal protective equipment. Avoid breathing vapours, mist or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Do not touch damaged containers or spilled material unless wearing appropriate protective clothing.
Environmental precautions
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up
Absorb or cover with dry earth, sand, or other non-combustible material and transfer to containers.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Wash hands after use.
Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Avoid inhalation of vapour or mist.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Recommended storage temperature: <25°C
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of the day.
Eye/face protection
Wear safety glasses.
Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards.
Skin protection
Handle with chemical resistant gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique to avoid skin contact with this product.
Respiratory protection
Where risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full-face respirator with multipurpose combination respirator cartridges as a backup to engineering controls.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity
No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
Chemical stability
Stable under normal temperatures and pressures.
Incompatible materials
Oxidizing agents
Bases
Disposal considerations
Dispose in accordance with applicable regulations.
