For the test substance bis(4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl)ether, the following vapour pressures at 20 °C and at 25 °C were calculated from the regression equation:

Vapour pressure at 20 °C:        1.63* 10-04Pa

Vapour pressure at 25 °C:        3.01* 10-03Pa

The linear regression of log p vs. 1/T gave a correlation coefficient r of - 0.9952, showing good repeatability and precision. Therefore, the determination is considered as valid.

Conclusions:
Vapour pressure of bis(4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl)ether was measured using the Effusion method following Knudsen cell as described in OECD 104 .
From the measured values, the vapour pressure of the test substance bis(4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl)ether was calculated as 0.000163 Pa at 20.0 °C, and 0.000301 Pa at 25 °C.
