Executive summary:

The particle size distribution was determined using laser diffraction. As measuring device, a Malvern Mastersizer 2000 was used. The powder was brought via a powder dispersing cell Scirocco 2000 into the laser light beam and the diffraction pattern was determined. From the diffraction pattern the particle size distribution was calculated.

Two test series of 3 measurements each were performed with the test item.

The average of D10 resulted to be 2.7 µm; the average of D50 resulted to be 9.5 µm; the average of D90 resulted to be 158.9 µm.

D50: 9.5 µm
