Einschränkung bei der Wahl der Löschmittel. Sie richtet sich
nach Brandumfang und örtlichen Gegebenheiten.
(Water fog, foam, dry extinguishing agent, CO2; there are no
exceptions for the extinguishing agents.)
Product arising from burning: Kohlendioxid, Kohlenmonoxid, Schwefeldioxid, nitrose Gase
(CO2, CO, SO2, nitrogenic gases)
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Schutzanzüge und Atemschutzgeräte (abhängig vom Brandumfang
und örtlichen Gegebenheiten).
(Protection clothes and respiration apparatus.)
Accidental release measures
Reste
feucht aufnehmen und ebenfalls in gekennzeichneten Behältern
sammeln. Dabei das Einatmen von Stäuben bzw. Hautkontakt mit
dem Pulver vermeiden. Personen, die entsprechende
Reinigungsarbeiten vornehmen, müssen die unter Handhabung
erwähnten Schutzmaßnahmen ergreifen. Entsorgung der
Abfallbehälter entsprechend den örtlichen behördlichen
Vorschriften, z.B. durch kontrollierte Verbrennung.
(Take up spoiled powder mechanically, e.g. with industrial
vacuum cleaner and collect in well labelled containers.
Moisten residues and collect in well labelled containers.
Avoid inhalation of the dust and skin contact. Worker should
keep to the personal protection measurement mentioned under
2.3.10. Dispose the waste containers according to the local
regulations e.g. by controlled incineration.)
Handling and storage
Handling: Die beim Umgang mit Chemikalien üblichen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
beachten. Bei allen Arbeitsgängen, bei denen die Möglichkeit
zu Haut- bzw. Augenkontakt besteht, wird das Tragen
geeigneter Arbeitskleidung, Gummihandschuhe und Schutzbrille
empfohlen. Beim Umfüllen Staubentwicklung vermeiden.
Getrennt von Nahrungsmitteln, Genußmitteln und Getränken
halten.
(Seek common precaution measurements for handling chemicals;
wear suitable protection clothes, goggles and gloves if
direct contact is possible. Avoid formation of dust. Store
separated from food.)
(siehe Handhabung) entfernen.
(Store dry and at room temperature in tightly closed
containers. Avoid residues on containers. Close containers
tightly after use.
Keep store rooms according to principles of good industrial
hygienis.)
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Fibretrommel mit PE-Innenbeutel (ca. 50 kg)
(Fibre drums with PE inlet)

Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
(A recycling of the emulgate or frome the layered photo
papers is not possible.)
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Nicht bekannt
(not known)
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Eine Ablagerung in gegen Versickerung isolierten Deponien
(According to the local regulation disposal on special waste
disposal sites is possible.)
C,H,N,O,S-enthaltender organischer Verbindungen üblichen
Abgase. Gegebenenfalls ist eine Rauchgaswäsche erforderlich.
(Incineration is the most preferable method of disposal if
necessary use air brush scrubbing.)
(In its use as a photographic agent the substance enters
only in very low amounts the waste water from which it can
separated by filtration or sedimentation. In the waste water
treatment plant the substance mainly will be mainly binded
at the sludge because of its high fatsolubility. An
additional water treatment is therefore not necessarry
although the substance is not readily biodegradable.)
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Der Stoff kommt nur in Form der Endprodukte (Fotopapiere) in
die allgemeine Öffentlichkeit. Eine Rückgewinnung aus den
fotografischen Materialien (ca. 230 mg/m2 Fotopapier) und
Wiederverwendung ist in der Praxis nicht möglich.
(The subsatnce enters the public domain in form of the end
products (photo papers). A recycling of them is not
possible.)
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Nicht bekannt
(not known)
(Old photos are disposed mainly over the house waste. The
waste is disposed on landfill sites or incinerated. Keep to
the local regulations.)
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Die Verbrennung ist die bevorzugte Art der Vernichtung.
Dabei sind die behördlichen Vorschriften zu beachten.
(Incineration if the most preverable way of disposal. Keep
to the local regulations.)
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Wird in Kläranlagen überwiegend vom Klärschlamm adsorbiert
(In the waste water treatment plant the substance in mainly
absorbed at the sludge and separated with it. Further
measurements are therefore not necessary although the
substance is not readily biodegradable.)
