Test substance storage: At room temperature in the dark
Key result
Water solubility:
186 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Incubation duration:
72 h
Temp.:
20.1 °C
pH:
6.7
Details on results:
- Preliminary test: The content of test substance dissolved in the water sample was 0.206 g/L. Value was obtained by extrapolation of the calibration curve.
- Main test: The maximum difference (MD) of the concentrations determined in the 24, 48 and 72 hour test samples was < 15%. According to the guidelines, the water solubility of the test substance is given as the mean value of the analysed concentrations. A small response at the retention time of the test substance (due to carry-over) was detected in the blank chromatogram. The maximum contribution of the response to the peak area of the test samples was 0.02%. According to this, the response was not considered to be significantly interfering to the analytical results of the test samples. The ratio of the response of the major component of the test substance and its isomer was similar in the test samples and calibration solutions. It demonstrated that the water solubility of the isomer is similar as the water solubility of the major component.
