Endpoint:
bioaccumulation in aquatic species, other
Type of information:
(Q)SAR
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2018
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
results derived from a valid (Q)SAR model and falling into its applicability domain, with limited documentation / justification
Justification for type of information:
QSAR prediction
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: Qsar
Version / remarks:
BCFBAF
Deviations:
not applicable
Details on estimation of bioconcentration:
The bioconcentration factor is based on an estimation method, where compounds are classified as ionic or non-ionic. Subsequently for non)-ionic substances a division is made, based on the log Kow. For substances with a log Kow >1; 1 -7 and >7 different regression models were developed with additional correction factors based on the structure of the compound.
Temp.:
25 °C
Type:
BCF
Value:
528.1 L/kg
Basis:
not specified
Calculation basis:
other: Qsar
Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The estimated Log BCF =  2.723  (BCF = 528.1 L/kg wet-wt)

Description of key information
