Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Two main studies were performed.

The values are the respective mean of both experiments.

Conclusions:
The graph of the particle size distribution of the test item shows not single peaks, but a continuous distribution roughly between 27 and 103 µm, leaving fractions of approx. 45% above 103µm and less than 10% below 27µm . The mean diameter is stated at 17.52 µm.

Description of key information

D50 of the substance is 17.5 µm.

Additional information

The graph of the particle size distribution shows no single peaks, but a continuous distribution roughly between 27 and 103 µm, leaving fractions of approximately 45% above 103 µm and less than 10% below 27 µm. The mean diameter is stated to be 17.52 µm. No particles smaller than 10 µm.
