First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures:
General information:Seek medical assistance if discomfort continues.
After inhalation: Leave danger zone. Immediately remove to fresh air. Consult a physician afterwards.
After contact with skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with water and soap.
After contact with eyes: Rinse immediately with gently running water for 15 minutes, maintaining eyelids open. Consult at once an ophthalmologist ar a physician.
After ingestion: If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: all.
Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons: No restrictions.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: carbon oxides.
Advice for firefighters:
Special protective equipment for firefighting: Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Impermeable protective clothing (jacket and trousers) with helmet.
Further information: Cool container and metallic parts with a water spray jet.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: See: Exposure controls and personal protection. Avoid dust formation.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter drains or waterways.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Take up mechanically and dispose of.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
-Advice on safe handling: Keep container tightly closed. Keep container in a well-ventilated place.
-Hygiene measures: Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Ensure an adequate supply of fresh air in enclosed working areas when using this product.
- Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Organic products which are intentionally or unintentionally in powdered form have, in principle, the possibility of creating a dust explosion hazard. Avoid formation of dust. Keep away from sources of ignition. Observe the usual precautionary measures required for chemicals with dust explosive properties (Observe national regulations).
Conditions for safe storage, including any incomptibilities:
- Further information on storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place, open and handle carefully. Keep away from sources of ignition.

Exposure controls / personal protection
General protective measures: Observe the usual precautions for handling chemicals.
Respiratory protection:
Respirator with a half face mask. Respiratory protection complying with EN 141. Recommended Filter type: Breathing protection if dust is formed. Composite filter EN 141 type ABEK-P3 (organic, inorganic, acid inorganic and alkaline gases/steams and poisonous particle).
Hand protection: Nitrile rubber gloves. Minimum breakthrough time/gloves: > 60 min
Eye protection: tightly fitting safety glasses
Body protection: protective clothing
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability: Stable.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: The product is not a dust explosion risk as supplied; howvere the build-up of the fine dust can lead to a risk of dust explosions.
Conditions to avoid: None known.
Incompatible materials: not known.
Hazardous decomposition products: When handled and stored appropriately, no dangerous decomposition products are known.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:
- Product: Incineration in an approved, controlled furnace. Observe: fire hazard data, physicla and corrosion data.
- Uncleaned packaging: For disposal local regulation is binding.
- Composition: C; H; O
