Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Additional information
Experimental studies investigating the short-term toxicity of the test
item to aquatic organisms as well as to activated sludge microorganisms
are available. All studies were performed under GLP conditions according
to standard OECD guidelines. The test solutions for the aquatic studies
were prepared as Water Accommodated Fractions (WAF) up to a limit of 100
mg/L, with the exception of the study on activated sludge
microorganisms. No effects were recorded in any of the available studies
up to the maximum loading rate resulting in E(L)L50 values of > 100
mg/L. The NOELR in the algae study was derived to be ≥ 100 mg/L. The
substance and its hydrolysis products are not expected to have any
impact on the degradation process in sewage treatment plants. No effects
on respiration rate of activated sludge microorganisms were recorded up
to a limit concentration of 1000 mg/L.
The test item is expected to hydrolyse rapidly in contact with water.
The experimental determination of a hydrolytic half-life was technically
not feasible since no analytical method could be established to
adequately measure the substance concentrations in the buffer solutions
(see also IUCLID section 5.1.2). Since rapid hydrolysis is assumed, the
available studies assess the possible effects of the substance itself
but also of the different hydrolysis products. Thus, it can be assumed
that the test item and its hydrolysis products do not have any effects
on aquatic organisms based on the results from the available studies.
