The test item is not a highly flammable solid in the sense of the European Commission Regulation
(EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.1 0.
According to the "Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment" (Chapter R.7.1.10), testing for pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water can be „waived based on a consideration of the structure and experience in handling and use“. The test substance does not contain groups associated with these properties and experience from handling the substance demonstrates that the substance does not possess these properties.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The test item is not a highly flammable solid in the sense of the EuropeanCommission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.10.
The test substance does not contain groups associated with properties such as pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water.
Furthermore experience from handling the substance demonstrates that the substance does not possess these properties.
