The temperature of the test sample did not deviate from the furnace temperature during the range room temperature to 400°C. Therefore there was no evidence of self-ignition below 400°C.

Additional information
MPP is negative in an EU test A16. This test is not comparable to the UN test N.4 required for classification but the fact that the in test A.16 the result was negative with the sample temperature not deviating at all from the oven temperature, combined with the fact that the technical function of the substance is to act a fire retardant, it can be concluded beyond any reasonable doubt that MPP should not be classified as self-heating.
