Toxicity to terrestrial arthropods

Description of key information

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex IX, Column 2, 9.4, testing of terrestrial arthropods is not required since an appropriate long-term toxicity study on soil macroorganisms is available.

Additional information

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex IX, Column 2, 9.4, testing of terrestrial arthropods is not required since an appropriate long-term toxicity study on soil macroorganisms is available.

In a study by IBACON (2013) with Eisenia fetida the 28 d/56 d NOEC for mortality, growth, reproduction and feeding activity was determined to be 1000 mg test item/kg soil, i.e. the highest tested nominal concentration.
