Additional information

Based on the various predicted data for the target chemical and read across chemicals study have been reviewed to determine the toxic nature of target chemical

N-(4-{[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl][4-(methylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium acetate (83803 -79 -6). The studies are as mentioned below:

In the first predicted study for N-(4-{[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl][4-(methylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium acetate (83803 -79 -6) from QSAR, 2017 toxicity was determine. Based on the prediction done using the OECD QSAR toolbox version 3.3 with log kow as the primary descriptor and considering the eight closest read across substances, toxicity on Tetrahymena pyriformis was predicted for N-(4-{[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl][4-(methylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium acetate (83803 -79 -6). The IGC50 value was estimated to be 555.035 mg/l when N-(4-{[4-(dimethylamino) phenyl][4-(methylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium acetate exposed to Tetrahymena pyriformis for 48hrs.

Similarly in the second study for the read across chemical (121 -69 -7) from ecotox, 2017. A test was developed using Tetrahymena pyriformis in order to determine the toxicity of  chemical. Pre-cultured T. pyriformis was exposed for 24 h at 30°C to various concentrations of chemicals, and the number of T. pyriformis surviving were then counted. The concentration of the chemical, at which the proliferation of T. pyriformis was restricted to one-half of the blank test (EC50), was determined. The effective concentration (EC50) value for N, N-dimethylaniline in Tetrahymena pyriformis in a 24 hr study was determine to be 110 mg/L on the basis of effect on population growth rate.
