Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

13 cases of contact eczema following exposure to trimethylhydroquinone were reported from a chemical firm's medical department during a period of 23 years (1967-1990). It was possible to identify sensitization in 1of 3 employees in which epicutaneous testing was carried out (1 % trimethylhydroquinone in Vaseline). Contact dermatitis was identified in one additional employee by means of sample excision. There have been no cases observed of impairment in lung function following exposure to trimethylhydroquinone.
