Additional information

One study investigating the short-term toxicity of Fatty acids, C18-unsatd, dimers, hydrogenated, diisopropyl esters (CAS 103213-20-3) to freshwater fish is available. The GLP study is performed under static conditions according to OECD guideline 203 using Cyprinus carpio as test organism (Bogers, 1998). Loading rate WAFs of 1 to 10000 mg/L were tested. A film of undissolved test substance was observed after 24 h of exposure in the highest concentration and after 48 h in the WAFs prepared at 100 mg/L and higher. However, this is considered negligible as mortality and immobilisation was only sporadically observed in the control and the treatments. The LL50 (96 h) was determined to be > 10000 mg/L loading rate WAF based on the nominal concentration.
