Key result
Auto-ignition temperature:
275 °C
Atm. press.:
1 011.8 - 1 028.1 hPa
Remarks on result:
other: The lowest temperature at which ignition of the test substance occurred was 275°C.

Preliminary test:

The estimated auto-ignition temperature was 285°C.

Main test:

The results of the main study on the determination of the auto-ignition temperature of the test substance is given in Table 1.

Ignition of the test substance within 5 minutes after introduction was observed with each sample volume and with each test, a minimum auto-ignition temperature was obtained. The maximum deviation between the three values was <10°C.

The lowest temperature at which ignition of the test substance occurred was 275°C. This temperature was a multiple of 5°C and therefore given as the auto-ignition temperature of the test substance.
