Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Boiling points from the four references: 197-200 degrees C, 197.5 degrees C, 197.5 degrees C, and 197.2 degrees C (given as 387 degrees F)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
197.5 °C

Additional information

The range of boiling point values found was 197 - 200 degrees C. Not all of the publications provided the atmospheric pressure. The GESTIS database lists the boiling point between 197 and 198 degrees C, the SRC PhysProp database lists it as 198.5 degrees C. Given the ranges of boiling points for this compound, the key value selected follows from a weight-of-evidence approach since it was the reported value in two references and fell within the ranges reported in other studies.
