Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
If inhaled Move to fresh air. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist.
If on skin Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
If in eyes Rinse with water. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
If swallowed Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting
without advice from poison control center. If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach
content doesn't get into the lungs. Do not use mouth-to-mouth method if victim ingested the
substance. Induce artificial respiration with the aid of a pocket mask equipped with a one-way
valve or other proper respiratory medical device.
Protection of first-aid
responders
Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to
protect themselves. In the case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately
(show the label where possible).
Notes to physician Provide general supportive measures and treat symptomatically. In case of shortness of breath,
give oxygen. Keep victim warm. Keep victim under observation. Symptoms may be delayed.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media Powder. Water. Water spray. Foam. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Extinguishing media to avoid None known.
Special fire fighting procedures In the event of fire, cool tanks with water spray. Water runoff can cause environmental damage.
Protection of fire-fighters Wear suitable protective equipment.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency measures
Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained. Immediately
evacuate personnel to safe areas. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Wear
appropriate personal protective equipment. Ventilate closed spaces before entering them.
Environmental precautions Avoid release to the environment. Contact local authorities in case of spillage to drain/aquatic
environment. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Avoid discharge into drains,
water courses or onto the ground. Do not contaminate water.
Clean-up methods andmaterials and containment measures
Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Collect spillage. Prevent product from entering
drains. Following product recovery, flush area with water. For waste disposal, see section 13 of
the MSDS.
Handling and storage
Handling
Technical measures No specific recommendations.
Local and general ventilation Provide adequate ventilation.
Precautions Do not taste or swallow. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash hands thoroughly after
handling. Avoid release to the environment. Do not empty into drains.
Safe handling advice Use personal protection recommended in Section 8 of the MSDS.
Storage
Technical measures No specific recommendations.
Suitable storage conditions Store locked up. Keep container tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children.
Incompatible products For further information, please refer to section 10 of the MSDS.
Safe packaging materials Keep in original container.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering measures General ventilation normally adequate.
Personal protective equipment Respiratory protection No personal respiratory protective equipment normally required.
Hand protection Not normally needed.
Eye protection Not normally needed.
Skin and body protection Normal work clothing (long sleeved shirts and long pants) is recommended.
Hygiene measures When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after
handling the product. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice
Stability and reactivity
Stability May form explosive peroxides.
Possibility of hazardous reactions No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
Conditions to avoid None under normal conditions.
Incompatible materials None known.
Hazardous decomposition products No hazardous decomposition products are known.
Disposal considerations
Residual waste
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Empty containers or liners may retain some
product residues. This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe manner (see:
Disposal instructions).
Contaminated packaging
Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal.
Since emptied containers may retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is
emptied.
Local disposal regulations
Contract with a disposal operator licensed by the Law on Disposal and Cleaning. This material
and its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste. Do not allow this material to drain into
sewers/water supplies. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with chemical or used
container. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/regional/national/international
regulations. When your own wastewater treatment plant is not available, collect entire waste and
then charge to a licensed industrial waste management professional with manifests for industrial
waste.
