Additional information

If released to air, VNB will exist in the vapor phase in the ambient atmosphere based on a measured vapor pressure of 1650 Pa at 20 deg C. In the vapor phase, an atmospheric half-life of 87 min is predicted for VNB due to oxidation by photochemically produced hydroxy radicals. Half-life in the atmosphere due to reaction with ozone is predicted to be 78 min. Hydrolysis of VNB is not expected to occur due to the lack of hydrolyzable functional groups.
