Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Slow stir log Pow = 5.386 ± 0.016 (constituent 1), 5.082 ± 0.014 (constituent 2) and 5.051 ± 0.017 (constituent 3) at 25 ± 1 °C, OECD 123, Dr.U.NOACK-Laboratorien 2015

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The partition coefficient of the substance was determined according to OECD TG 123 slow stirring method on three quantifiable constituents at 25 ± 1 °C from three independent replicates (test vessels) with four sub-replicates (samples). The pH-value of the aqueous phases was determined by a pH-meter. The mean pH was in range of 5.604 (start) and 5.536 (end) during the study. The analytical method was validated with satisfactory results regarding linearity, limit of quantification, accuracy, precision and specificity. The determined concentrations of the aqueous phase samples were below the LOQ (for constituents 2 and 3) and below the calibration range (constituent 1), but with respect to the consistency and reproducibility of the analytical results, this was deemed acceptable. The octanol / water partition coefficient was determined to be log Pow = 5.386 ± 0.016 (constituent 1), 5.082 ± 0.014 (constituent 2) and 5.051 ± 0.017 (constituent 3) at 25 ± 1 °C.
