Additional information

The water solubility of Aluminium silicate and titanium oxide matrix doted with vanadium, nickel, and antimony was investigated with the column elution method according to OECD 105 (Paulus 2010, RL2). For this purpose the Al-content and the content of different metals (Ni, Sb, Ti and Va) was determined. Al content as well as the content of the different metals were found to be below the limit of detection. Taking into account the Al content of the test item (23.33%), the solubility of the test item was stated as < 0.11 mg/L at 21 - 23 °C. Furthermore, the data showed, that the incorporated metals will not be removed from the Aluminium silicate and titanium oxide matrix.

A transformation/dissolution test according to OECD series on testing and assesment, number 29, is in preparation to confirm these results.
