Additional information

- Acute immobilisation study of Ethyl 2-methylvalerate to Daphnia magna: As the study was conducted as a limit test the 24 and 48 h EC50 of Ethyl 2-methylvalerate was greater than 100 mg/L. The results obtained with the positive and negative controls establish the suitability, validity and reliability of the test system and the methods followed.

- Reproductive Output of Daphnia magna Exposed to Different Concentrations of Ethyl 2-Methylbutyrate over a Period of 21 Days:

NOEC of Ethyl 2-methylbutyrate = 1.3 mg/L

LOEC of Ethyl 2-methylbutyrate = 3.6 mg/L

21day EC50of Ethyl 2-methylbutyrate = 2.53 mg/L (95% fiducial limits between 5.48 and 92.67 mg/L)

- Alga (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata), growth inhibition test with Ethyl 2-methyvalerate: As the study was conducted as a limit test the percent growth inhibition and growth reduction of Ethyl 2-methylvalerate could not be calculated. The Ethyl 2-methylvalerate does not inhibit the growth of alga (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata) up to 100 mg/L of alga media. The results obtained with the positive and negative controls establish the suitability, validity and reliability of the test system, the methods followed and incubation conditions
