Exposure controls / personal protection

During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained in accordance Art. 18.

Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment technical, organizational and PPE measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted.

Exposure limit values

Exposure limit values are not available.

DNEL/DMEL values: DNEL/DMEL values are not available.

PNEC values: PNEC values are not available.

General protective measures: Avoid contact with eyes and skin

Hygiene measures: Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages. Wash hands before breaks and after work.

Respiratory protection : Use respiratory protection in case of insufficient exhaust ventilation or prolonged exposure

Hand protection : PVC/ Nitrile rubber gloves. These types of protective glo ves are offered by various manufacturers. Please note the manufacturers´ detailed statements, especially about the minimum thickness and the minimum breakthrough time. Consider also the particular working conditions under which the gloves are being used.

Eye protection : safety glasses/face shield

Body protection : protective clothing

Stability and reactivity

Chemical stability: Under normal conditions the product is stable.

Possibility of hazardous reactions: When handled and stored appropriately no dangerous reactions are known

Conditions to avoid: None known.

Incompatible materials: not known

Hazardous decomposition products: Nitrous gases (in case of fire)

Disposal considerations

Product: Special waste incineration plant, after consultation with operators

Uncleaned packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste
