As the study was conducted as a limit test the percent growth inhibition and growth reduction of Ethyl 2-methylvalerate could not be calculated. The Ethyl 2-methylvalerate does not inhibit the growth of alga (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata) up to 100 mg/L of alga media. The results obtained with the positive and negative controls establish the suitability, validity and reliability of the test system, the methods followed and incubation conditions.
