Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: There is no possibility of Recovery or Recycling, as the
bait is eaten by the flys. The active ingredient is breaken
down by sunlight over time.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The active is not hazardous, and neither is the bait.

Neutralisation occurs via UV-light which breaks down the
active ingredient.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Uneaten baits can be disposed of by normal waste

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Stack gases should be scrubbed.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: There is no need for special pre-treament.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: There is no way to recycle the bait, as the bait is eaten by
the flies and the substance is broken down by UV-light over
time.

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Spinosad is no hazardous substance. Spinosad will be
neutralized during its use as a flybait and will be broken
down by UV-light.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: The left-over bait can be disposed of with normal waste
regulation.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The left-over bait can be burned without any hazard.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: There is no special pre-treatment needed.
