Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
250 °C

Additional information

Three reliable, GLP compliant, melting point tests are available. Based on the reported values of 235-236 °C (Schering Agrochemicals Ltd., 1988), circa. 249.8 °C (RCC NotoxToxicological Research and Consultancy B.V., 1991) and 250 -251.8 °C (INERIS Institut National De Recherché, 1997), the consistency of the two most recent test results indicates that the melting point of the substance is circa 250 °C.

The melting range of Everstab 3940 is 254.6-258.0 °C (lot No 11205), taken from the manufactures CoA (See Section 1.4 Analytical Chemistry).
