First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air and consult a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running
water, holding eyelids open. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and
nitrogen together with some soot.

Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and self-contained breathing
apparatus must be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).
Avoid dust formation by damping down with water. Absorb
spillages of solutions with a suitable inert material (e.g.
sand or soil). Carefully transfer the spillage to labelled
waste containers, or use a sealed industrial vacuum machine.
Dispose of waste material in accordance with local
regulations by landfill or incineration. Do not discharge
into waterways or sewer sytems.
Clean the spillages area with water and detergent, avoiding
release to the drains.
Handling and storage
Handling: The substance should be stored, handled and used under
conditions of good industrial hygiene and in conformity with
any local regulations in order to avoid exposure.
Engineering controls are necessary to reduce exposure to the
substance. Threshold limit value, 15 mg/m3.
Gloves (PVC or rubber) to Standard EN 374, safety glasses,
goggles or eye shield to Standard EN 166, clothing to
Standard EN 368, and a dust mask to Standard EN 149 FFP1 and
respiratory protection conforming to national standards
should be worn.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry area away from heat sources.
Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Paper bag, fibre drum, or carton box containing net weight
of 5 to 50 kg.

Dust explosion: There is a potential dust explosion hazard from this organic
powder. However, the substance is not self-exploding
(deflagration) at 400 deg C under the "Fire Service Act" in
Japan.

landfill at an authorised tip in accordance with local

under controlled conditions at a licensed waste treatment
processor in accordance with local regulations. Waste gas
treatment to remove oxides of nitrogen should be fitted.
