Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water
Emergency measure - Skin: Rinse immediately with plenty of water
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Gas evolved in case of fire is essentially CO2 and HCl
fumes. Wear self contained respiratory equipment.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Suck up the liquid with pumps, soak onto absorbent
materials and store in closed containers for ultimate
incineration.
Handling and storage
Handling: Handle as a mildly irritant liquid. Avoid contact with skin
and eyes. Wear protective gloves and goggles.
Storage: No special precautions.

Danger other than fire: None reported
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Condensers: Recover and destroy. Hydraulic fluid: Recover
and regenerate or destroy.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Almost total destruction (95%) of the substance is achieved
in an incinerator on a fluid bed at 800 deg C for 3
seconds.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Sending the substance to a water purification system allows
the production of an effluent almost free of compound and
its concentration in the sludge.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
