Endpoint:
oxidising solids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied

Description of key information

As the substance has no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties, the classification procedure for oxidising properties does not need to be applied.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
non oxidising

Additional information

As supporting information, a study was performed to investigate the oxidising properties of a technical concentrate of the test substance. This study was performed in accordance with EU Method A.21 and in compliance with GLP. Based on the findings, it was concluded that the test substance in formulation does not need to be classified as oxidising.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the available information, classification on oxidising properties is not warranted in accordance with EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation No. (EC) 1272/2008.
