First-aid measures
Inhalation: If breathing is difficult, transport the victim outside for fresh air and maintain her in a position where she can comfortably breathe. If experiencing respiratory symptoms: call a poison center or doctor.
Skin contact: Wash immediately abundantly with water, remove clothes and shoes contaminated by the product. Wash clothes before re-use. Clean carefully before putting them back. In case of irritation, consult a doctor.
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water. Call a poison center or doctor if you feel unwell.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing media : Powder, foam, water spray, carbon dioxide
Inappropriate extinguishing media:
Particular dangers, products of combustion: Toxic fumes of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides
Protection against fire : Powder, foam, water spray, carbon dioxide. Don’t breathe vapours in case of fire. Cool container with water.
Accidental release measures
Personal protection : Ventilate closed spaces before entering. Wear suitable protective clothing, goggles, chemical gloves, self contained. breathing apparatus.
Emergency procedures : Take away any source of inflammation, have a good ventilation, evacuate the high-risk area
Environmental precautions : Do not dispose to the sewer, nor in the natural environment
Cleaning procedures : Absorb with sand or vermiculite. Collect spilled material, and place in a bag for disposal. Wash spill site with water and hold for waste disposal
Handling and storage
Handling :
Appropriate technical measures : Ventilation recommended. Local exhaust required. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Wear suitable protective clothing: goggles, chemical gloves, gas mask for organic vapours. Avoid contact with eye and skin. Don’t breathe vapours
Advises for industrial hygiene:
Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area
Hands wash himself after every use
Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
Storage :
Appropriate technical measures: Avoid contact with air and carbon dioxide. Store in a cool place. Keep tightly. closed. Keep locked up
Incompatibles materials : Strong oxidising agents, strong acids, acid chlorides, acid anhydrides, carbon dioxide.
Packaging materials :Steel drum
