Description of key information

Aside from tetradecyl lactate, the substance also may contain significant amount of tetradecanol. Autoflammability temperatures of the fatty alcohols are lower than those of the alkyl lactates but exceed 250 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
259 °C
