Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
The test substance is a clear, colorless liquid at 20°C and 1013 hPa, based on a reliable internal report regarding physical chemical properties.
The boiling point of Tetrahydrolinalyl acetate was determined to be between 200.9°C and 214.5°C (The atmospheric pressure during the measurements was 99.8 kPa). The determination of the the boiling point / boiling range of the test item was performed according to the EEC Directive 92/69, A.2 “Boiling temperature“, December 1992 and to the OECD Guideline No. 103: “Boiling Point“, adopted July 27, 1995.
The density of the test substance was determined according to OECD TG 109 using an oscillating densitometer and was found to be 0.8657 g/cm3 (at 20°C).
The vapour pressure was determined according to OECD TG 104 with the dynamic method. The vapour pressure of the test substance was found to be 27.58 Pa at 25 °C and 19.23 Pa at 20°C (calculated).
The partition coefficient of the substance was determined according to OECD 117 and under GLP using the HPLC method. Under the conditions of the test, the log Pow was determined to 5.6 at 20° (pH 5.7).
The water solubility of the test substance was determined according to OECD 105 and under GLP with the column elution method. Under the conditions of the test, the water solubility of the test substance at 20°C was determined to be 1.58 mg/L (±0.35 mg/L).
The interfacial tension between the test substance and air was performed on the basis of the ISO guidelines No. 9101:1987 -12 with a drop volume tensiometer and was determined to be 25.8 mN/m at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.
The flash point of the test substance was determined according to EU method A9, with the Pensky-Martens closed cup method. Under the conditions of the test, the flash point was determined to be 86.5 °C ( 101.325 kPa).
The auto ignition temperature of the test substance was tested according to EU method A15. Under the conditions of the test, the auto ignition temperature of the test substance was found to be 290°C at an air pressure of 987 mbar.
