Conclusions:
The density of C14-18 alkyldimethyl ammonium methosulfate was determined to be 0.9896 g/cm³ using a gas comparison pycnometer.
Executive summary:

The density of C14-18 alkyldimethyl ammonium methosulfate was determined according to OECD test guideline 109 (adopted 27 July, 1995) and EU test method A.3 (30 May, 2008) by measuring the volume of a known mass of the test substance by means of a gas displacement pycnometer. In gas pycnometric density measurements, the volume determined excludes the volume occupied by open pores; however, it includes the volume occupied by sealed pores or pores inaccessible to the gas if present. The measurements were repeated automatically until the results of at least five subsequent runs were within the specified tolerance (deviation of displaced volume < 0.006 cm³). The density of the test substance at 20°C is 0.9896 g/cm³.
