Description of key information

The test substance ROC-601 was investigated for acute aquatic toxicity towards invertebrates (Daphnia Magna) according to OECD method 202 and for toxicity towards green algae (Raphidocelis subcapitata) according to OECD method 201 at saturated concentration in the test media (nominal 100 mg/L), using the water accommodated fraction (WAF) method.

No toxicity towards daphnia or green algae was observed. As the test substance is light sensitive, the acute study towards invertebrates was performed in the dark. However for the green algae study this is technically not possible and as a result analytical concentrations found in the green algae study were significantly lower (0.38 µg/L, compared to 1.97 µg/L in the daphnia study).
