First-aid measures

1. DESCRIPTION OF FIRST AID MEASURES
General advice:
No hazards which require special first aid measures.
If inhaled:
Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of dust or fumes from overheating or combustion. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
In case of skin contact:
Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. Call a physician immediately.
In case of eye contact:
Protect unharmed eye. Remove contact lenses. Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Call a physician immediately.
If swallowed:
Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do NOT induce vomiting. If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the recovery position. If accidentally swallowed obtain immediate medical attention.

2. MOST IMPORTANT SYMPTOMS AND EFFECTS, BOTH ACUTE AND DELAYED
None known.

3. INDICATION OF ANY IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION AND SPECIAL TREATMENT NEEDED

Fire-fighting measures

1. EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
· Suitable extinguishing agents:
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or car-bon dioxide.

2. SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE
Specific hazards during fire-fighting: Fire will produce dense black smoke containing hazardous combustion products.

3. ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS
• Special Protective equipment: In the event of fire wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
• Further information: Standard procedure for chemical fire.

Accidental release measures

1. PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS; PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
Avoid dust formation. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate personnel to safe areas.

2. ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.

3. METHODS AND MATERIAL FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP
Sweep up and shovel. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

1. PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING
Advice on safe handling: No special handling advice required.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Avoid dust formation. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed.
Hygiene measures: General industrial hygiene practice.

2. CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE, INCLUDING ANY INCOMPATIBLITIES
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
Advice on common storage: No special restrictions on storage with other products.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. CONTROL PARAMETERS
Contains no substances with occupational exposure limit values.
2. EXPOSURE CONTROLS
Eye protection: Safety glasses
Hand protection:
Remark: No material can be recommended. Experience says that polychloroprene, nitrile rubber, butylrubber, fluoro-caoutchouc, and polyvinyl chloride are suitable as glove ma-terials for protection against undissolved solids. Take note of the information given by the producer concerning permeabil-ity and break through times, and of special workplace

Skin and Body protection: Protective clothing
Respiratory protection:
No personal respiratory protective equipment normally required.
In the case of dust or aerosol formation use respirator with an approved filter.

Stability and reactivity

1. Reactivity: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
2. Chemical stability:
No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions
Dust can form an explosive mixture in air.
4. Conditions to avoid: No data available.
5. Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents.
6. Hazardous decomposition products:
Carbon oxides, Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Sulphur oxides

Disposal considerations

Product: Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Contaminated packaging: Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal.
