- Details on results:
- The experimental data showed a completely test article solubility in the aqueous phase and no repartition in the n-octanol phase was observed.
The n-octanol solubility can be estimated to be lower than 2.5 mg/l ( L.O.D. Limit of Detection of the analytical phase).
ln presence of both water and n-octanol phases, considering the difference between the two solubilities, the test article should be dissolved principally in the water phase and the concentration in the organic phase should be lower than the limit of detection value.
Therefore it can be estimated that the partition coefficient between n-octanol and water should be lower than the ratio between the two solubilities. - Conclusions:
- logPow = -2.9 at 22 °C and pH 5
- Executive summary:
The test was conducted according to the OECD Guideline 107 by means of the flask method.
The Partition coefficient results to be logPow = -2.9 at 22 °C and pH = 5.
