Additional information

The acute toxicity of t-octylacrylamide (27 -8098) to Daphnia magna was determined according to OECD 202 and EC C2.

The 48 hours EC50 toxicity value was calculated to be 26.2 mg/L with 95% confidence limits of 20.5 to 33.7 mg/L based on nominal test concentrations. The overall mean measured concentrations of t-octylacrylamide in unfiltered samples of test media were 5.81, 12.1, 24.2, 50.0 and 107 mg/l corresponding to 93.0, 96.8, 96.8, 100 and 107% of the nominal t-octylacrylamide concentration respectively.
