Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

General Information

Implementation:
EU
Type of classification:
harmonised classification
Remarks:

Classification of gas form is provided for information purpose only, as the registered reference substance; but the substance will actually be used only as aqueous solutions generated in situ.

Existing harmonised classification, inserted by ATP01 (Reg.No.758/2013) (no update including last published ATP14 (Reg. No.2020/217)).

Index N°017-026-00-3

Acute Tox. 2 * is considered as a minimum classification in the harmonised entry, but a more severe level was identified, based on available data.

In comparison with existing harmonised entry, Aquatic Chronic 2 classification has been added according to long-term ecotoxicological data.

The substance is a gas; physical hazard classes that apply to other physical states are not relevant.

It should also be noted that classification for explosive properties and eye irritation should not apply, as already covered respectively by oxidising properties and corrosivity, but were added as required to pass the TCC (priority classifications not taken into account by the TCC for justification of data waivings under IUCLID sections 4.12 and 7.3.2).
