Description of key information

Read across from Alcamizer 5 (EC no: 422-150-1): no melting point for Magnesium aluminium hydroxide carbonate.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Alcamizer5 (analogue substance) was tested using EEC-Directive 92/69 A.1, Differential scanning calorimeter method performed under GLP conditions and concluded to decompose above 150ºC. Based on similar structural nature (crystal structure) the same conclusion is drawn for Magnesium aluminium hydroxide carbonate.

Key value for CSA: no melting/freezing point
